As a result of the REAL ID Act, visitors to NASA Centers must have a federally issued form of identification such as a passport, military I.D., or federal I.D. badge OR a driver's license issued by a compliant state as listed on the Homeland Security website.
If any of the members of your party do not have one of these acceptable forms of identification, then the support letter from your NASA Center contact must state that you will have an escort at all times while on Center.

“NASA is restricted by specific applications of Section 535 of the Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriation Act of 2013, Public Law 113-6 from using funding appropriated in the Acts to enter into or fund any grant or cooperative agreement of any kind to participate, collaborate, or coordinate bilaterally in any way with China or Chinese-owned company.” Guidance from NASA states, “The restrictions of the Act may apply to visiting faculty/students from Chinese universities. Additional information would be required.”
